I'm on CaseCatalyst version 4.19 (I know, really old). Sometimes lately when one of my reporters sends me a depo file, when I try to open it, I get the Exception 3 error box, and then I cannot open the file, and it closes me out of Case Catalyst altogether. She's recently updated her version of Case Cat, but not sure what version that is. I'm assuming the latest one. Could that be a problem because my version is so old? It's not every file that I get this problem, however. |

Hate when that happens!! Are you ever able to open those files and scope them? I have Case also. I looked in Help, typed "exception 3 errors" in the index and got some information about it there. It didn't help me one bit, but maybe you'll get something out of it. :) If Help in your version of Case doesn't have that and you want to read what it says, if you'll e-mail me (pmporter @ att.net) I'll copy and paste it into an e-mail and send it to you. Hopefully there's nothing illegal about that. Pat |
