scopists' rates
Message:

I am looking into scoping, having been a court reporter.  Could you please share your rates so I have an idea of what's fair to charge for regular turnaround, scoping with spot check audio and scoping with full check audio for video.  Also, what do you charge for rush jobs?  Thanks

Wow, I noticed you got no response on that.  I am new as well, but I found a report on rates I think on this site. . .  I see anywhere from 95 cents to $1.25 is the going rate but I don't know if that is for a rush.  I was a court reporter in the 1990's and federal court was $3 page regular, $4 for 7 days and $5 for 3 days and $6 daily...   but that was then and that was for the original transcript.  If you found anything out and would like to share I would appreciate any information you can give me.  Thanks a bunch, Susan
