Hi!  I am a newbie to the site and I guess just a newbie in the whole field, trying to get my feet wet.  I was a court reporter for about 4 years, and have been a legal secretary for 20 years, now doing transcription work from home.  I am looking to eventually start scoping for somebody or maybe do some proofreading to begin with.  I would love to get some ideas on how to get started, and the convention sounds like a great idea.  Is there still availability?
