Capitol Reporters of Florida alert

Janice Jones and Denise Stewart had a firm in Miami, Capitol Reporters. They received payment for court work through the state agency called the JAC.

They closed her business and we were still required to prepare transcripts for the court and attorneys. Some appeal transcripts were still paid through their firm and myself and another reporter were never paid.

Capitol Reporters refused to relinquish their rights so we could bill through another firm. I have the invoices that prove the money went into their account. The amount of money they owe me is about $25,000, plus attorneys fees at about $6500. The other reporter is owed less than $5,000. All of this happened in 2007 and she had a lot of help hiding her assets. I have never been able to collect anything.

She has some legal problems which I am not aware of the precise nature.

Please be very careful with these persons as they talk a good story and sound very convincing.
